TWO PARTY PREFERRED PREFERENCE FLOW - NT

This screen shows the flow of preferences to the ALP and Coalition parties in the Two Party Preferred count at the State and national levels. On this screen you will find...

• the number of votes each of the ALP and Coalition received from excluded candidates by party
• the votes distributed to each of the ALP and Coalition expressed as a percentage of total votes distributed by party
• the first preference votes obtained by each of the ALP and Coalition
• the total votes obtained by each of the ALP and Coalition after the distribution of preferences was completed.

1. Two Party Preferred is usually the same as Two Candidate Preferred, however they are different when the final two candidates are not ALP and Coalition candidates. This is referred to as 'non-classic' Two Candidate Preferred.
2. In 'non-classic' divisions a further scrutiny for information was conducted to show the result of the count indicating the next available preference to the ALP and the leading Coalition party candidates for statistical purposes.
3. These results are final.
