Location Kalgoorlie is a rural electorate which covers an area of approximately 2 295 354 sq km of Western Australia. The main towns are Broome, Boulder, Carnarvon, Coolgardie, Dampier, Derby, Esperance, Exmouth, Halls Creek, Kalbarri, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Merredin, Newman, Norseman, Northampton, Port Hedland, Wiluna and Wyndham.
Products and Industry Mainly arid land which is rich in mineral and ore deposits. Cattle and sheep are also grazed in some areas, fishing, tropical fruits and vegetables are also important industries.
