First preferences and two party preferred by division

This table shows the percentage of first preference votes by party and the Two Party Preferred statistics for each division in the selected state, territory or nationally. In this table you will find...

  • the divisions listed alphabetically on a national, state or territory basis
  • the percentage of first preference votes received by each party by division for the selected state, territory or nationally
  • Two Party Preferred statistics by division for the selected state, territory or nationally
  • the total percentage of first preference and Two Party Preferred votes received by party for the selected state, territory or nationally.

Notes:

  1. 'OTH' includes independents, non affiliated candidates and parties not listed separately.
  2. Two Party Preferred is usually the same as Two Candidate Preferred, however they are different when the final two candidates are not ALP and Coalition candidates. This is referred to as 'non-classic' Two Candidate Preferred.
  3. In the divisions where the final two candidates are not from the ALP and the Coalition, a further scrutiny for information is conducted. This scrutiny is used to determine the next available preference to the leading ALP and Coalition party candidates for statistical purposes.
  4. These results are final.
